A life once lived so thoughtlessly
Believing God revealed your soul to me.
The vibrant red to liven a world covered in black
Only to find it was only an act.
What a daunting thought emotions are
Expressed sporadically and from afar.
Promised and cherished to be broken and abandoned
Humans are significantly underhanded.
